The Experience Journal was created under the direction of David Ray DeMaso and Joseph Gonzalez-Heydrich. Both are child and adolescent psychiatrists in the Department of Psychiatry at Children’s Hospital Boston and Harvard Medical School. Together with Dr. DeMaso, Dr. Nicole Eldridge Marcus, Project Director, and Carolyn Kinnamon, Project Coordinator, have created the Transplant Experience Journal for families facing child and adolescent solid organ transplantation.

NPI - UCLADr. Margaret Stuber, a child and adolescent psychiatrist at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences and UCLA Medical School, Dr. Debbie Seacord, a child and adolescent psychologist from the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital, Andrea Balch and Mary Jae Leigh were collaborators on the Transplant Experience Journal.

Support for the Transplant Experience Journal has come from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous. Graphic design for this website was funded by the Department of Psychiatry at Children’s Hospital Boston.

The video clips were produced and edited by Dixon Yun of MRRC Multimedia, Children’s Hospital Boston. The web site was designed by Meghan Toczko.

We thank the UCLA Pediatric Liver Transplant Program for contributing video clips from “Sharing the Experience: The Journey to Your New Liver and Beyond.” ©2002 Fujisawa Healthcare, Inc.
