The Experience Journal was created under the direction of Drs. David Ray DeMaso and Joseph Gonzalez-Heydrich.  Both are child and adolescent psychiatrists in the Department of Psychiatry at Children's Hospital Boston and Harvard Medical School.  Dr. DeMaso, Project Director, and Paola Rodriguez M.A., Project Coordinator, have worked collaboratively with Dr. Terrell Clark, Dr. Betsy Kammerer, and Dr. Marilyn Neault from the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program at Children's Hospital, Boston to create this Experience Journal for families.  The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Experience Journal is made possible by contributions from the Bass Foundation and from the Department of Psychiatry at Children's Hospital Boston.

The video clips of the family interview were produced and edited by Dixon Yun of Children's Hospital Boston Media Communications. The web site was designed by Meghan Toczko. The website icon was designed by Rebecca Moyer.

We are indebted to the editing input of Micki Appleby, Mandy Bass, Mark Campbell, Dr. Terrell Clark, Dr. Betsy Kammerer, Dr. Marilyn Neault, Stacey Culver, Sarah Thomas, Carrie Morris, Sneha Rao, and Jake Hirshberg.

We would like to thank Michele Jefferson, Meghan Meyerson, Abegail Moore, and Natasha Sokol for their valuable contributions to this project.

Finally, and most importantly, we extend enormous gratitude to all of the families who generously provided their stories for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Experience Journal.
